To clarify how many users would use the save icon for location purposes, I conducted a poll question on my Instagram and two other relevant pages. The results revealed that more than half of the participants saved posts to check the location later. Following this, I interviewed five of them to identify their pain points and needs. Based on the gathered insights, I created a persona to represent the common experiences and preferences of users who engage with the save icon for location-related purposes.

Propose feature
Present feature
In the present design, users encounter difficulties in locating their saved items efficiently. To access the location information of a saved post, users must click on each individual post, followed by clicking on the address. Subsequently, opening the map results in the saved post becoming somewhat lost amidst other images displayed on the map.

Propose feature
To address the existing design issue, a suggested enhancement involves incorporating a map icon directly under the saved feature. This strategic addition aims to simplify the navigation process for users, allowing them to effortlessly explore their saved posts based on location. By clicking on the map icon, users would gain immediate access to a comprehensive view of their saved items plotted on a map, providing a user-friendly solution that enhances the overall experience and efficiency of managing saved content.
